Amber and Aine score to give Peamount full points in league opener.

Peamount came from behind in this evening’s opening WNL game, against a top flight Cork City Womens FC side, to secure all three points.  After Cork City took an early lead, with Katie McCarthy, scoring in the very first minute – just 21 seconds into the 2019 season, Amber Barrett wasted no time in finding the back of the Cork City net when she scored on the seven minute mark!  Midway through the first half, the legendary Aine O’Gorman put Peamount into the lead, during a goalmouth scramble, with another goal that proved to be the match winner.  Well done Peas, 2-1, an absolutely fantastic start to the 2019 season!

Eskers Celtic’s Zack Foley remembered at U11 Peamount Utd Vs Swords Celtic

Peamount U11A1 boys and Sword Celtic observed a one minute silence this morning in memory of Esker Celtic U14 player Zack Foley.  Zack passed away this week after a brave battle with cancer.   Both teams played today’s game with pride.  It finished Peamount 2 Swords Celtic 1.   Our thoughts are with Zack’s family and friends.

Aidan McDonagh created a donation page to assist with Zack’s treatment, if anyone would like to donate, please do so here.

Peamount U14s – All Ireland Finalists!

Well done to the U14 Girls have earned their spot in the FAI All Ireland Cup Final. The Peas overcame their semi final opposition Shelbourne in well deserved 2-0 victory.  The teams were locked in a stalemate end to end battle until the last 15 minutes when the determination and discipline of the girls in green made the difference.   Well done girls.

IMPORTANT: Only moulded plastic studs are permitted on the Astro Pitch

In order to protect and extend the life of the newly relaid astro turf surface please be aware that only coaches and players are allowed onto the all weather pitch.

Further, only footwear with moulded plastic studs, as shown below, is permitted to be worn by anyone when on the pitch – no exceptions.

With your cooperation, we hope that Peamount players of all ages will enjoy many years of football before relaying is necessitated again.  Thank you for making an effort.
