Peamount went on to meet Dynamic Coaching again in the final where they won 3-0. Peamount U11 boys enjoyed a super trip to Richmond Park, Inchicore, to give the half time entertainment display during the St Patricks Athletic versus Derry City SSE Premier League game on Friday. The team had a great experience playing under the floodlights in front of the crowd on the stadium pitch. A big thank you goes to St Patricks Athletic for their hospitality.

Peamount came from behind in this evening’s opening WNL game, against a top flight Cork City Womens FC side, to secure all three points. After Cork City took an early lead, with Katie McCarthy, scoring in the very first minute – just 21 seconds into the 2019 season, Amber Barrett wasted no time in finding the back of the Cork City net when she scored on the seven minute mark! Midway through the first half, the legendary Aine O’Gorman put Peamount into the lead, during a goalmouth scramble, with another goal that proved to be the match winner. Well done Peas, 2-1, an absolutely fantastic start to the 2019 season!
Best wishes to everyone taking part in the 3rd edition of the Peamount Cup this weekend. Why not pay our tournament sponsor Kidspace, children’s indoor play centre Rathcoole, a visit over the mid term?
